General Delivery Rates and Fees

United States

We utilize UPS. The average transit time is 7-10 business days. 

Shipping rates are the responsibility of the customer and take into consideration the average weight of each package, along with the distance required for delivery.

*Melanin Haircare does not determine or control shipping rates - this is determined by the carrier.

 

Outside of the United States 

We utilize UPS. Depending on the destination, average transit time is 7-14 business days.

General Shipping Information

Business days include Monday - Friday and exclude holidays and weekends.

International shipping fees do not include any countries’ customs, duties or taxes which are determined and imposed by the destination country and are not within the control of Melanin Haircare.

*Please note that any additional international duties, taxes, or customs fees are the customer’s responsibility upon package arrival to destination.

Once a package has been scanned and accepted by the carrier, Melanin Haircare is no longer responsible for the package. This includes instances of loss, theft, damage, or delivery delays. If an issue occurs, please email CustomerCare@MelaninHaircare.com with your order details to report what happened. Once the Customer Care team has the necessary information, they will open a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

Order processing typically takes 2–4 business days. However, processing may take a bit longer during restocks, promotions, high demand periods, or due to weather delays beyond our control.

*Please note that we are unable to ship to select territories, including, but not limited to: Spain, Mexico, Italy, and Greece.

  • Do you charge additional fees for international shipping?

When ordering outside of the United States of America, recipients may be subject to customs duties and fees that must be fulfilled upon receipt of the package. Melanin Haircare has no control over these charges and customs policies can vary widely from country to country and are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Customs, duties, and taxes imposed by a recipient's country of residence are non-refundable. 

 

Returned Orders and Address Accuracy

  • What happens if I enter my address incorrectly?

It is important to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including apartment or unit numbers if applicable. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, Melanin Haircare is not responsible for any redelivery fees.

  • What should I do if I need to update my address after placing an order?

If you notice an error in your shipping information, please contact our dedicated Customer Care team immediately via CustomerCare@MelaninHaircare.com. Once a package has been processed by the carrier, we cannot make changes to the address, and the package may be returned.

  •  Are there any fees if my order is returned due to an incorrect address?

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Any additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address will be the customer’s responsibility.
